Crazy For You East Coast Tour Announced

Love songs are supposed to be all dramatic and mushy, right? Well, Sunshine Coast Roots gurus, Bearfoot have taken a different approach with their new single, ‘Crazy For You’ - a knees-up ska-driven track with twists and turns, celebrating our rollercoaster love lives.

Bearfoot’s blend of So-Cal, Hip Hop & Dub Reggae (with a dash of the Endless Summer Soundtrack thrown in) has shone threw in every release they have brought out, but (with the exception of the dedication to their Sunshine Coast home in ‘Could Be Worse’) the songs generally have a more serious bent, often leaning to the political.

‘Crazy For You’ sees the band bring out a crowd favourite in recorded format, once again under the guidance of Paulie B (Yama-Nui Studio), and showcasing one of their catchiest, jumpiest tracks to date, including a special appearance from the Sunshine Coast’s soul sista, Andrea Kirwin.

Bearfoot are following up on last year’s ‘TRiBE’ EP with studio time under their belt, and a swathe of new material, however vocalist Asher Chapman said that they decided to release this favourite, older track, described as a catchy love song spiced up with some epic flavours from the Bearfoot team.

“This track was written a long time ago, back when I met a girl who changed my world, and six years later turns out to be an amazing wife,” he said.

“It’s a song about the challenges we all face on the road to growing old together.”

To celebrate the release, Bearfoot will be bringing their crazy love on tour through August, into September, starting at their home, Solbar, on the Sunshine Coast, making their way through South East QLD, Northern NSW, Sydney, Melbourne, and tying things up with appearances back on the Sunshine Coast at Caloundra Music Festival.

So, be prepared to get your feet moving, your shoulders shufflin’, and voices warmed up to shout out, ‘Bearfoot! I’m crazy for you!’
